Blogging
Nothing much to report on in blogworld at the moment. The weather is grey and miserable, but I can't complain, the weekend weather was gorgeous. I have plans afoot to put a bench on my deck one of these days if I can either find a cheap one, or better still a free one. It would be nice to sit on a bench instead of currently having to drag out a dining room chair. Even on a cold day I get pleasure from sitting out, with a warm cup of something. Life is a bit of an up and down rollercoaster of emotions at the moment so I will keep this brief and promise to write something wholly more substantial very soon.

Sorry to hear about that Dan, hope all is well with your family, if not, that you find the strength to deal with things. Have you checked out Freecycle in your area? Someone may have a bench or seat they no longer want.
ReplyDeleteThank you, my dad is very ill and it is a big worry, but I am cheered up now.
DeleteChin up .... sll will pass.
ReplyDeleteAnd I'm sure a bench of some sort will be winging its way to you soon.

Thank you, I hope so I can't wait to sit out there, even in the cold winter sun.
DeleteTis a good time to checkout freecyle, or freegle, put up a wanted. When things feel to be going down all of a sudden some good pops up.
ReplyDeleteThank you, I didn't actually know freegle, so enjoyed looking around there.
DeleteDan, however long or short your posts are, I always enjoy reading them. Take time out if you need to, I'll be here when you come back.
ReplyDeleteThanks Ilona, wouldn't like to lose your as a reader!
DeleteBig hugs xx
ReplyDeleteThank you, much appreciated.
DeleteHope all's OK Dan - it's always good to read your post long or short Take care xxx
ReplyDeleteThat's good to know, thanks.
DeleteHope things are back on an even keel soon Dan. x
ReplyDeleteJust a blip. I'm feeling much better already.
DeleteHaving been through the mill myself all I can say there is always something to look forward too.
ReplyDeleteGood to see you again, John. You are right of course.
DeleteA decent out-door setting is great. Expensive, but worth it.
ReplyDeleteBreakfast outside watching the day begin. An evening meal with a friend.
Get something with removable cushions. A lounger so you can rest on the deck when you feel crummy. And something that will cover the table and chairs in horrible weather, for protection and so you do not have to drag it all inside.
Hmmm ....... Feeling despondent? Sing some blues.
I can't complain at my out door setting, it is gorgeous already. Anything else is just the icing on the cake.
DeleteI agree with Louise, I love listening music that matches my emotions! :)
ReplyDeleteIt's meant to get really cold this weekend, so you'd better stock up on hot drinks for sitting outside! Your place sounds like it's really coming on nicely.
Hope all is well. :)
P.S. I just tagged you in one of those answer-some-questions-about-yourself games on my blog. Silly but fun use of time! :) http://the-frugal-graduate.blogspot.co.uk/2012/10/getting-to-know-you-and-me.html
DeleteThanks, it is coming on and I really am grateful for it and understand how lucky I am. even if I sometimes sound moany. haha
DeleteHi Dan
