Hold on, what's going on here then?
OK so I got bored and feel it's time for a change.
It feels pretty major (unreasonably so) to change the name of a blog and I have thought about it since new year and worried people wouldn't like it or no-one would realise it was the same blog etc etc. And then I just realised it didn't really matter, it is my blog after all and I had got a bit stale towards the end of last year. When I started blogging I had no idea what it would be like and certainly never thought I would end up with 353 followers and so just came up with any old title, now it feels right for a new one. Everything else in my life is changing at the moment so I might as well go for it. And you know what? If I find I don't like it then I will just change it again!
So here we are, I am, after all, A Singing Gardener in my heart and the title appealed.
The content is still the same although that has changed somewhat over the last 2 years too, everything evolves after all.
I hope you all like it and I hope you all carry on reading.

I had noticed and yes, it suits you down to a tee! I rushed with my title but it seems appropriate for me so will also stick to it.
ReplyDeleteI saw the post in my news feed and thought I don't remember following a blog called that ?...haha lovely name and if it suits you better then go for it Dan .. lovely blog all the same :)

Good idea, if you feel that it suits you better ! It's something I had been considering also but haven't had the chance to do yet. And of course I'll keep reading your posts and everything, it's better than being stuck and considering shutting the blog.
ReplyDeleteLove it! :o)
ReplyDeleteVery catchy and apropos!
ReplyDeleteIt's definitely you. Shall still be lurking and reading your exploits. :-)
ReplyDeleteVery apt for a singing and piano teacher who gardens! A rose by any other name eh?
ReplyDeleteWell, it got my attention :) And it suits you perfectly too ... you are after all a real singing gardener. Just don't give up blogging because I'd miss following your adventures in both gardening and singing. Elizabeth
ReplyDeleteMe thinks you have a song in your heart
ReplyDeleteA much more appropriate title for your blog - a change is as good as a rest as they say - I've always regretted my choice of title and feel I could come up with something much better now - maybe one day I'll give it some thought.
ReplyDeleteHello, thanks for visiting my blog and commenting, this is my first visit so I didn’t know you under your previous name but having browsed through a few of your past posts I think we have more than a few things in common and I will return on a rainy day to read more. Today it’s not raining!! The sun is shining and I have things to do in the garden.
ReplyDeleteBy the way, have you heard of Green Plant Swap, great for gardeners on a budget, I have my own page here, still trying to list all the plants in my garden but it takes time. You can see it here: Helene's Plant Swap.
Take care, Helene.
Sounds good to me :)
ReplyDeleteNice change of name - and as you say, it's your blog and you can do what you like ;o)
ReplyDeleteNice to have a change ... perhaps you can upload a song or two for us occasionally .. that would be nice.

Love your new title, it suits you. I know you have a blog for your musical work, but I hope you give us some snippets of it here. I would love to know how things are progressing, and maybe a song or two, please :o))
ReplyDeleteGood title - we love your blog under any name.
ReplyDeleteLove it!!! And as others have said, it suits you well. I can imagine you outside puttering away in the garden while singing. Perfect!
ReplyDeleteGreat title.
ReplyDeleteLove from Mum

Great title,
ReplyDeleteYou have always been the singing gardener since you`ve moved away from London and threw yourself into your new way of life. You just had to discover it yourself. Perfect title for your blog.
ReplyDeleteIt suits you perfectly, much more reflective of who you are.
ReplyDeleteI concur! It is your blog and you must follow your heart. That is the authenticity that comes through, that I like. I also like it, because I have dreams of my own cabin, a little garden... Someday! For now though...am paying down debt, and then in two months ish, starting to save toward that dream! So yay!! Anyway, I shall live vicariously through your garden, because here everything is cold and frozen! :-)
ReplyDeleteI have visions of you singing to the plants like the experiment on the good life, with Douglas the bean!
ReplyDeleteHi Dan, I have been following your blog for quite a while now. I think changing the name of your blog is a natural progression given the changes in your life at the moment. I think it is still called evolution! Love what you write.
