What a positive response I got for yesterday's post!
I got fancy messing around with a video/slideshow with soundtrack yesterday - something new to me. It was good fun to do and interesting to watch I think (I hope you find it so too) I know a lot of the photos are those I have shown before but it is the order which makes them interesting.
I must admit to having to watch it twice as I switched off to listen to the singing first time around! Were you playing the piano as well? Lovely garden pictures, really shows what you have accomplished since moving in!
ReplyDeleteLovely - it left me with a smile on my face. Thank you.
ReplyDeleteit is an amazing progression, it looks professional, the flowers, are just lovely to see coming to life!
ReplyDeleteBeautful - was that really you? What a voice!
ReplyDeleteLovely ... x
ReplyDeleteLike Dc I have just watched this again concentrating this time on the garden and the progress made throughout the seasons. Together with the beautiful music it's a lovely video. How clever you are to be able to do all these things!!
ReplyDeleteLovely to see the progression of the garden throughout the year - how it has changed since you moved in. If that is you singing then you should know that I found it very moving.
ReplyDeleteA perfect post for the perfect new blog title..i found this very moving :) xx
ReplyDeleteCan't load it on my iPad.....can you put it on YouTube?
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely voice!
DeleteBeautiful voice! It is a setting of an E A Housman poem isn't it? The garden seems to be getting better and better.
ReplyDeleteThat was fabulous! I had imagined your voice differently. Absolutely beautiful voice and garden!! You are certainly the Singing Gardener!
ReplyDeleteThis is, in every way, completely gorgeous. Thank you.
ReplyDeleteI don't know what is nicer, looking at the beautiful garden or listening to your wonderful voice!
ReplyDeleteHello Dan, so glad that I was directed to your blog. I share in your passion for gardening and indeed music of all kinds, don't ask me to sing though, not very pretty. I enjoyed the video of your garden and how it has developed, very satisfying. Off now to add your blog to my link (Blogs I like)
ReplyDeleteHow utterly wonderful!! So lovely to watch the pictures with your singing alongside it. Keep singing and gardening!
ReplyDeleteLovely voice, thank you, really enjoyed it
ReplyDeleteA perfect introduction to your "new" blog!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful. Enjoyed that. Thank you :-)
ReplyDeleteHow nice to see that you went on to make that video record after all, after seeing mine just a few days ago, that was speedily delivered! Lovely garden photos and lovely music, from the other comments here I assume it is you singing and playing, I don’t know this piece, what is it?
ReplyDeleteI always use classical music for my gardening videos and photo slideshows, somehow I think most classical pieces are just so appropriate. I have an idea for my next garden video, haven’t started yet, but it will be with music from Fauré Requiem in D minor, op 48 - probably late February or early March. If you visit my blog regularly you’ll see it when it’s ready :-)
Have a great day!
Absolutely gorgeous: voce, giardino, all of it! I can't believe how much you've accomplished in such a short time. I very much look forward to sipping elderflower champagne with you in that shaded seating area!!
