How wonderful, but I have to admit I am glad you have it andm not us. After being snowed in for almost 5 weeks in the winter of 2010 - 11 I have gone off snow a bit.
You are absolutely right SFT, it is exactly what I thought. Silversewer, I can understand your reluctance for not wanting snow, 5 weeks is a very long time. Scarlet, it is beautiful isn't it. We are having a beaituful day in Lancs aren't we. I must admit though, I am sort of snowed in, not in any serious sense, but because I live halfway up a hill and the road is so steep, I would be reluctant to try driving it in snow. So beauty versus practicality? Beauty wins for now!
I look out the window every day and think just the same thing, beats living in a town any day, no matter what sacrifices you have to make to achieve it :)
Brrrr! I am not a fan of snow but must confess it does look gorgeous. And if you're going to have snow, have it on beautiful landscapes! Flat, dirty city streets are not it's best canvass.
Wow, so pretty. In this part of the States, we NEVER have snow like that. IF we get it, it's just a light dusting that is gone in a few hours. I'd love to see that out my window, very nice. I'm jealous!

ReplyDeleteJust beautiful! No snow in my little piece of Lancashire, but a hard frost and beautiful sunshine.

ReplyDeleteIt does look beautiful! I'll bet it's rather nice to be snowed in over a weekend--you can just relax, enjoy the view, and enjoy your home.
ReplyDeleteI can see your smile and the look of contentment on your face.
