Up to now I've only used the type of jars with a two-part lid, or with a separate glass lid and rubber ring. Do you just close those jars over and process in a water bath? I didn't do any this year but there is nothing better than opening a jar in the deep of winter and getting that fabulous tomatoey smell.Moonwaveshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16018956740090192993noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4652989316053170663.post-38948896015729216022012-09-11T13:02:02.560-07:002012-09-11T13:02:02.560-07:00I love the light fixture, all more fabulous by it ...I love the light fixture, all more fabulous by it being free and self installedCheapchickhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15158208632054014311noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4652989316053170663.post-45486588899717791742012-09-08T08:38:23.984-07:002012-09-08T08:38:23.984-07:00Havesting pink peppercorns from a tree in the Sout...Havesting pink peppercorns from a tree in the South of France? I don't think my crop will be big enough this year for anything like that, which is sad, but if I ever see masses being sold off somewhere, for dead cheap, I will do it again.DHhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14199859409385042568noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4652989316053170663.post-31319788303502358612012-09-06T02:53:43.339-07:002012-09-06T02:53:43.339-07:00It was really good and made 4 healthy portions, ev...It was really good and made 4 healthy portions, even for a greedy man like me.DHhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14199859409385042568noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4652989316053170663.post-84068635240188214652012-09-06T02:53:04.370-07:002012-09-06T02:53:04.370-07:00Definitely persevere, I had given up on mine, but ...Definitely persevere, I had given up on mine, but they are really healthy specimens and I have no doubts will eventually produce chillis. I wouldn't put them outside though, bring them in, if they are not already and just keep watering them on a sunny windowsill, something will happen to them eventually, one way or another.
